The Sequencing Club Berlin (SCB) wants to offer scientists, researchers in genetics and also citizen scientists a new platform to exchange ideas in an easy way, find possible cooperation partners and promote innovations in the field of sequencing technology.
And last but not least, to offer exciting symposia and workshops on the topic of DNA sequencing.



The club was founded in early 2024 by the manager of YSEQ GmbH, a laboratory for DNA genealogy based in Berlin, Germany that offers DNA testing primarily to private individuals but also cooperates with research institutions worldwide.

A good business partner of YSEQ GmbH and supporter of the Sequencing Club Berlin is MGI Tech GmbH, also based in Berlin. MGI is a subsidiary of the BGI Group, based in southern China, and a manufacturer of sequencing devices of all sizes.
